DAY 01 – Sept 12 – Lake Como x Verona x Padova

9:00 am – Let´s depart for our adventure to re-discover ITALY!

We will head to Verona… a small city with lots of history!

205 km – 2 ½ hours

10:00 am – We will head to the city center to discover how wonderful it is… with Juliet’s balcony and the Arena, the ancient amphitheater built by the Romans.

13:00 pm – Get ready to enjoy your Lunch with some of the best local wines (not included).

4:00 pm – Depart from Verona to Padova

DAY 02 – Sept 13 – Padova x Treviso x Venice

9:00 am – Buongiorndo Padova! Strech your legs and we will visit the Amazing Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua.

 

Padua is a city known for the frescoes by Giotto in its

Scrovegni Chapel from 1303–05 and the vast 13th-century Basilica of St. Anthony.

The basilica, with its Byzantine-style domes and notable artworks, contains the namesake saint’s tomb. In Padua’s old town are arcaded streets and stylish cafes frequented by students of the University of Padua, established in 1222

After our tour, we will depart to Treviso.

1:00 pm – Lunch (included)

Lets go for a walk in the city of Treviso… starting on the central Piazza dei Signori is the Palazzo dei Trecento, with battlements and vaulted arcades. The Fontana delle Tette is a 16th-century fountain that used to dispense wine. Nearby, the Duomo features a neoclassical facade, Romanesque crypt and a painting by Titian. The Civic Museums’ main site, the St. Catherine complex, has medieval frescoes

5:00 pm – Departure to Venice.

40 km – 30 min

Arrival in Venice, and time for our first boat ride to our Hotel… Let´s check in and Dinner (included)

 


 

DAY 03 – Sept 14 – Venice

9:00 am – Let’s discover the city of love and its many canals.

We will arrive in the city and start walking on the paths. The first stop will be the Rialto Bridge. We will keep walking all the way to Piazza San Marco where we will stop and have some free time to enjoy the view and a nice Espresso.

Afternoon, we will visit the island of Murano (included). It’s a small community famous for making the crystals with the blown glass method. We will have the chance to watch them doing it in front of us!

DAY 04 – Sept 15 – Venice x Ravenna x Florence

8:00 am – Departure from our hotel to Ravenna.

Ravenna is a city in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It’s known for the colorful mosaics adorning many of its central buildings, like the octagonal Basilica di San Vitale, the 6th-century Basilica di Sant’Apollinare Nuovo and the cross-shaped Mausoleo di Galla Placidia.

10:00 – Let´s go on a walking tour that includes all the major monuments and attractions of Ravenna. We will discover all the beauties of this charming town, including Basilica di Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, Dante’s tomb and Quadrarco of Braccioforte, Basilica di San Vitale Ravenna (Byzantine art and architecture), Mausoleo di Teodorico and Piazza del Popolo.

During our tour, we will have time for a break for Lunch (not included)

4:00 pm – Depart to Florence.

DAY 05 – Sept 16 – Florence

9:00 am – Let´s revisit the city going to the most famous places of Florence… Our first stop of the day will be the famous Uffizi Gallery, one of the most renowned art museums in the world.

12:00 pm – Free time for lunch (not included).

 

Afternoon we will head to the Piazza del Duomo where we will have the chance to enjoy the beauty and grandiose of the impressive Dome and Campanile. Let’s take a look inside.

DAY 06 – Sept 17 – Florence x Montalcino x Milan

Breakfast (included).

9:00 am – Departure from your hotel to enjoy a full day of culture, wine, and delicious food. We will visit the UNESCO destinations in Valdorcia, Tuscany. Taste the most famous and the best red wine near Montalcino. Get a guided tour in Pienza and Montepulciano.

The tour begins with a visit to a cellar near Montalcino, where you will taste a sampling of wines produced with a delicious snack consisting of local products. In the afternoon, one of our brilliant tour leaders will show you around Montalcino, where you will visit the village and its fortress. Then you will visit Pienza and Montepulciano, two artistic jewels that represent the landscape of Val d’Orcia. Pienza is a perfect combination of architectural beauty and harmony. The numerous lanes bearing impressive names overlook the breathtaking landscape of Val d’Orcia. Unique tastes, smells and flavours support this natural and artistic heritage. The tour ends with the visit to Montepulciano where the impressive Renaissance buildings and the refined beauty of its churches are intertwined with the ancient tradition of its wine. This tour will give you an unforgettable wine experience you could find nowhere else in the world.
